Hellfire The Hellfire Club was the popular name for a number of clubs for high society rakes established all over Britain and Ireland in the 18th century. As far as I can make out they got drunk and shagged a lot. It's served as inspiration for this piece which I wanted to be darkly Gothic and beautifully sensual. All the lettering styles here were prevalent in the 18th Century but I’ve presented them in a modern way. A2 (594 X 420mm) edition of 75 on Satin Mirri, 160gsm paper. |
